Food Handler Course

Pastry Pro Sdn Bhd, established in 1984, has been a cornerstone in the food industry. Besides being a one-stop shop for your baking need, Pastry Pro also offers to courses to help aspiring individuals gain a foothold in the F&B industry.

In May 2003, we became a Ministry of Health (MOH) certified Food Handler Training Centre. Our courses are held at our facilities, but if you have a large group at your establishment(more than 12 participants), Pastry Pro can conduct the course at your venue. All courses come with a certificate of authentication for participating events, and the Food Handler course certificate is valid for life.

By providing both convenience and quality training, Pastry Pro ensures that all food handlers receive the necessary education and certification, complying with the regulations set by the Ministry of Health and local councils. 


Why Food Handler Course

To comply with the rules and regulations set by the Ministry of Health and local councils, all food handlers are required to undergo Food Handlers Training conducted by an approved and recognized Food Handlers Training School.

As mandated by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, attendance at a certified food handler course is compulsory for all food handlers in Malaysia. Failure to complete this training can result in a fine of up to RM10,000 or imprisonment for up to 2 years, as stipulated in the Food Hygiene Regulation 2009.

The Food Handler Course(LPM) not only fulfills legal requirements but also educates participants on proper and safe methods of handling and preparing food. The course emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness in surrounding areas, which helps prevent food poisoning.
